3.Main Fuction:

Shikimic Acid is an active ingrediets which is extracted from Illicium verum Hook. f. , Shikimic Acid is a key precursor of many alkaloids, aromatic amino acids, indole derivatives, and it also be widely used as a chiral building block for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals. Now, Shikimic Acid serves as the starting material for Oseltamivir which is a neuraminidase inhibitor used in the treatment and prophylaxis of both influenza A and influenza B

4.Application: 

 (1) Applied in pharmaceutical field, it is usually made into tablets, capsule and granule to   warm the kidney, strengthen the spleen and enhance human immunity.

 (2) Applied in food field, it is mainly used in kinds of beverage, liquor and foods to enhance human immunity and anti-aging.

Shelf Life: Two years when properly stored. 
Storage: Store in Cool and dry place, keep sealed and keep away from strong light, hight temperature.
