Physicochemical Properties:

Solid Sodium Methylate is a white, flowing powder which is amorphous. It is easy to react with oxygen, and it will be decomposed into methanol and sodium hydroxide when being exposed to humid environment or water. It decomposes when the temperature is higher than 126℃ in air. It is dissolvable in methanol and ethanol, but not in benzene and toluene.

It is mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry to produce VitamineA1, VitamineB1, the long-acting sulfanilamide, sulfadiazine and trimethoprim, etc. It can also be used in the biodiesel industry and used as edible catalysts, analytical reagents and cosmetics.

Packing & Storage:

Open Steel Drum, 100 KG/barrel (10 bags of barrel, 10 KG/bag)

Paper Barrel: 25-30 KG/barrel (10 KG/bag or 25KG/bag)  

It should be stored in cool and dry warehouse and kept away from fire and heat. Besides, it should be separated from oxidants and acids during storage and transportation process. Make sure keep the package intact and stable when carrying the products.
