Introduction

Notoginsenoside have blood-activating and stasis-dispelling effects, and it also can inhibit platelet aggregation and increase cerebral blood flow. Notoginsenoside contains ginsenosides Rb1, ginsenoside Rg1, notoginsenoside R1 and so on, which can reduce free radicals in different degrees, The product is made by processing the dried root of Panax notoginseng (Burk.) F. H. Chen. It mainly contains notoginsenoside R1, ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Re and other triol saponins, and also contain a small amounts or traces of diol saponins.
