Composition:
Each ml contains 320,000IU. Colistin Sulphate.
Indications:
Calves lambs, diarrhea due to E.coli, Salmonella spp.
Poultry: E.coli and Salmonella spp. Infections (fowl typhoid, pullorum disease).
It is used to treat intestinal infection caused by Gram - negative bacteria (Escherichia coli); also effective to pseudomonas aeruginosa infection (ichorrhemia, urinary tract infection burn and trauma surface infection)
Species: Calves, Lambs, poultry.
Administration &Dosage: Oral administration.
Calves and Lambs: 100 000 IU of colistin / kg bw/day divided in two identical doses, i.e. 0,50 ml of product /10 kg bw / day for 3 consecutive days.
Poultry: 75 000 IU of colistin / kg bw/day, i.e. 37,5 ml of product /1000kg bw/day for 3 consecutive days.
Withdrawal times:
Meat: 7 days.
Eggs: 0 days.
