The "Administrative Measures on Inspection and Supervision of Imported Coating" mandate that imported coatings are issued a license by AQSIQ prior to market entry. AQSIQ also designates specific testing laboratories, registration offices and filing agencies to assess and administrate the regulation of imported coatings. For imported coating that pass the inspection, the inspection and quarantine authorities shall issue an "Inspection and Quarantine Certificate of Entry Cargo".
