Angiotensin III, human is a heptapeptide formed by the degradation of angiotensin II peptide by aminopeptidase A. It is an AT1 and AT2 receptor agonist and has higher sensitivity to AT2 receptors. Angiotensin III, human has been shown to be a polypeptide that plays a major role in the release of vasopresin controlled by RAS and stimulates the release of aldosterone.
