Canada conducts special review of triflufenac and its end-use products

Food Partner Network News On November 29, 2024, Health Canada issued consultation document PSRD2024-03, and the Pest Management Regulatory Authority (PMRA) conducted a special review of Pydiflumetofen and its end-use products.It is understood that triflufenac is a broad-spectrum fungicide that is currently registered for foliar application and seed treatment of various field grain and feed crops, greenhouse grain and non-food crops, outdoor ornamental plants and lawns, to control and suppress certain diseases. All currently registered products containing triflufenac were considered in this special review.     The public comment period for this registration is November 29, 2024, through January 13, 2025.
